Let's Do Our Part in Conservation

Ocean Quest Global is an environmental organization that was founded by Mr. Anuar Abdullah in 2010 in Malaysia. Since its establishment, it has been rapidly expanding globally. Through years of research, Ocean Quest Global has developed its own techniques, methodology, and materials for coral propagation and coral reef rehabilitation. The organization strongly believes that coral can be restored on a large scale through an all-natural and non-invasive approach. Both the Ocean Quest Coral Propagation Workshop and Course are available at Club Nomad.

Coral Propagation Workshop

This is an one day entry level training program where you will learn basic techniques of Coral Propagation, and its benefits to society and the environment.

Pre-Requisites:

Aged 10 and above
Non diver can participate and take part in on short process
Diving certification is an added advantage but is subjected to diving competency evaluation.

Coral Propagation Course

A 2 days comprehensive course where you will learn the fundamental knowledge on corals, substrate and brood stock collection, coral propagation techniques, nursery site selection, building and monitoring.
After completion of this course, you may participate in any of Ocean Quest’s on going coral restoration projects* (subject to availability)

Pre-Requisites:

Aged 12 and above
Open Water Diver (min. 15 logged dives, subjected to diving competency evaluation)

Working Hours

We operates on an appointment-based system, meaning that we do not have specific work hours. Instead, our team members schedule appointments with clients based on their availability and needs.
